Br. Ricardo Laguda, PARC General Councilor, and Ed-Linddi Ong, PARC Youth Coordinator, have announced that the 11th Asia Pacific Lasallian Youth Congress (APLYC11) will be held 3-9 December, 2017 at De La Salle University Dasmarinas City Philippines.
As stated in the event announcement, APLYC gatherings are always "a good source of networking and understanding among youths," with the particular objectives of APLYC11 to include:
To deepen our understanding of the Lasallian Identity and Spirituality as a lived experience in the Asia Pacific context.
To appreciate spirituality and its impact in empowering persons to make personal and societal changes.
To sensitise, understand and appreciate cultures, social economic realities and the environment in the Asia Pacific region
To provide action oriented, education, training, formation opportunities to young Lasallians so that they become agents of change especially for the poor and neglected.
The cost of the event (minus travel) will be $250 USD, excluding travel costs.
Each country within our Lasallian Region of PARC has been invited to send 12 delegates, aged 16-30, to attend APLYC11. The deadline for submitting the list of delegates from each country is 15 July, with delegate lists to be submitted via email to aplyc11@delasalle.More details of the programme and registration procedures will follow soon.
