Attention! People in or aspiring to leadership positions! Together For Mission applications open!

Together for Mission is an intensive Lasallian program for personnel in schools and yourtown, with the aim of enhancing participants' personal and collective capacity for working effectively with young people.

It is a four-semester program conducted in four residential blocks, one per semester. The program is open to all who work in our institutions, especially those in or aspiring to positions of leadership at whatever level. People from our wider Lasallian world are most welcome to join us.Our first cohort, in November 2019, evaluated their first block very positively, and included people from Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Australia and the Philippines.

Applications are now open for a second cohort, who will begin their four-semester program in November 2020. It will run from Sunday afternoon 8 November (travel day) to Friday morning 13 November (travel day).

Our approach is to draw on three sources of wisdom: participants' own experience, the best of contemporary educational and social research, and our 340-year-old heritage of working with young people in very varied contexts.

There is a practical component to the program, determined by individual participants in consultation with their Principal or Manager.

The facilitators for the program have considerable experience in their particular fields, and include Tracy Adams (CEO, yourtown), John Foley (Principal, St Michael's College Adelaide), Jill Gowdie (Brisbane Catholic Schools) and Br Gerard Rummery (distinguished Lasallian scholar), as well as our Lasallian Mission Services team in formation for mission.
