Building Community at De La Salle College Revesby

The following is an update from Margaret Marriott, Religious Education Coordinator from De La Salle College Revesby, who shared their recent Year 7 retreat experience, facilitated by members of the Young Lasallians Team, Sebastian Duhau and Damian Khoury.

It was such a beautiful experience to see our students passing on the light of faith to their 'younger brothers' of the College at last Wednesday's Year 7 Retreat. Nineteen of our Lasallian Youth Leaders work together with our Youth Minister, Meryla Lowther and team from Lasallian Mission Council, Sebastian and Damian to facilitate the Retreat Day, Building Community. The students had a wonderful day and special thanks to Mr Trevillion and the Year 7 Homeroom team for their supervision.

To see the Year 11 students coping with active students in their small group and telling us that they don't know how we manage it, this always brings a smile. The event was held in the wonderful space of Block 9 which is so conducive to a positive experience.
