Casimir College in Marrickville has hosted a highly successful Encounter Day- an annual event for Lasallian Youth Leaders and School Leaders across the eight Lasallian schools in Sydney.
Now in its tenth year, the Encounter Day is a unique opportunity for young Lasallians to network and benefit from a day of faith development and leadership training.
The event is organised by Lasallian Mission Services' youth ministry team, with each school invited to send 15-20 students to participate in the day.
It gives Lasallian students who won't be attending the Lasallian Student Leadership Seminar in January, another opportunity to benefit from leadership training in the Lasallian tradition.
Brother Visitor David Hawke addressed the students, singling out the unique gifts of a Lasallian student leader, including the need to be a strong mentor to junior students in their schools.
