De La Salle Malvern Teacher Ordained a Permanent Deacon

The Faith and Liturgy Coordinator at De La Salle College Malvern, Graeme Pender has been ordained a Permanent Deacon in a ceremony at St Patrick's Cathedral in Melbourne.

Archbishop Dennis Hart presided over the ceremony last Saturday.

Reverend Graeme has been appointed to St Kevin's Parish in Hampton Park, a suburb in Melbourne's outer-eastern suburbs.

Next year, he will also take up a new appointment as Religious Education Coordinator at St Francis Xavier College in Berwick.

The Lasallian community congratulates Reverend Graeme on his ordination and wishes him well in his new role.
