A VAST 4655km separates Castle Hill and Western Australia but former Oakhill College captain Alexander Murrie will use his time at the school when he volunteers in a remote Aboriginal community in the Kimberley.
He will volunteer with Lasallian Volunteer program in Balgo - it has a population of 600 and is 260km from the nearest major town.
Volunteers dedicate one or two years to a community and help others.
As part of the program run with De La Salle Brothers, Alexander will have the opportunity to support students at Luurnpa Catholic School and support the disadvantaged Wirrimanu Aboriginal community...
