Jubilee Catholic Secondary School in Port Moresby has continued its strong tradition of academic excellence with over 40 of its final year students gaining entry to PNG universities and vocational training institutions following the publication of exam results.
14 final year students at the Lasallian school gained a place in undergraduate courses at the University of Papua New Guinea across a wide range of disciplines including law, science, psychology and social work.
11 students won places at the University of Technology in PNG and another six students will enrol in undergraduate courses at Divine Word University in Madang.
Another 11 students secured places at the Port Moresby Business College where they will undertake courses in accounting, hospitality and business management.
Jubilee Catholic Secondary School is widely regarded as one of PNG's best high schools with growing demand for enrolments and its recent graduation ceremony attracted national media interest.
There are currently over 600 students and 26 teachers at the school in Boroko.
