La Salle Bankstown raise over $10,000 for Twinned School in Pakistan

Each year La Salle College Bankstown celebrates St John Baptist de La Salle Founder's Day.  FSC, the initials used after the Brothers' name, represents Faith, Service and Community.  These principles are identified and celebrated through the Mission Action Day (MAD) held on on Friday 13th September.

The day started with a Mass celebrating our founder, St John Baptist de la Salle celebrated by Father Ronnie Maree. This was followed by various fundraising activity stalls which exemplified the principle of service modelled by the Lasallian Brothers. The day concluded with a talent quest to showcase the creative talents of our students.  There was a great sense of community spirit and co-operation and all these community activities fostered the personal and spiritual growth of all involved.

The College managed to raise $10,300.00 to contribute towards the urgently needed construction of water wells at La Salle High School Campus 2, Faisalabad in Pakistan.

Congratulations to all staff and students at La Salle Catholic College Bankstown on this fantastic achievement.
