Live a volunteer experience beyond borders! Alem Project - Tabatinga, Brazil

Do you have more than 25 years old?

Do you want to dedicate a year or more of your life to the Lasallian mission as a volunteer?

Are you a psychologist, teacher, social communicator or you work as pastoral ministry (work with young people and pastoral agents)?

Do you speak Portuguese or Spanish?

Live an experience of volunteering Beyond Borders in Brazil!

The Lasallian community of Tabatinga is waiting for you!

Project Alem (Lasallian Animation of Evangelization and Mission) is coordinated by the center of Tabatinga, a city of 60,000 inhabitants in the heart of the Amazon, on the triple border with Brazil, Colombia and Peru. The main feature of the project, whose action is itinerant, is directed mainly to the rural communities of the Amazon jungle. The socio-educational activities pay special attention to the training of the indigenous population. The project includes the following areas: literacy courses and vocational training for young people, teacher training and promotion of sustainable practices through workshops and awareness-raising initiatives.
