Dear Lasallians,
The Lasallian Youth Gathering (LYG17) is the premier event for all Young Lasallians in the District of ANZPPNG, set to take place in Sydney from 10th-14th July.
This unique gathering is a key opportunity to empower all your young Lasallian students and staff to come together, get engaged, and be inspired by the diverse Lasallian Community from around Australia and abroad.
If you haven't yet registered your school group REGISTRATIONS CLOSE MONDAY, MAY 22.
IMPROVEMENTS MADE TO THE LYG17 PROGRAM BENEFIT CHAPERONES
We have made some significant improvements to the program for 2017 since the last LYG in Brisbane, with embedded Professional Development opportunities now available.
All chaperones will now receive joint certification through BBI-TAITE and the Gerard Rummery Institute.
In combination with an entirely different logistical set-up, chaperones will have time to rest and reflect, gaining much more from the overall LYG17 experience.
Take the opportunity to empower young people to understand and articulate what it means to be a Lasallian, and the fundamental importance this has on their own personal development.
If you would like to see an example of the impact LYG can have on young people, watch the following short video from LYG Brisbane:
