National Lasallian Sports Meet in Pakistan

By Mr Khuram, La Salle News, Edition 3/2018

October came with the festivity of Inter La Salle Sports among different Lasallian institutions in Pakistan. Sports organised in this tournament comprised of five different games; cricket, football, basketball, table tennis and badminton. More than 270 students took part in this sports tournament which is the tangible truth for the popularity of places at six Lasallian institutions. La Salle Higher Secondary School - Multan, crowned itself by winning the major sports like cricket, football and basketball, whereas La Salle High School and College Faisalabad became the champions of table tennis and badminton. It was indeed a very healthy and competitive time for the students to take part in different games and strive to win for their school.

Preliminary matches for Faisalabad region were hosted by La Salle High School and College. The sports committee, coaches and all the players performed very well with a profound decorum and fairness. Such events like this dont' only bring out the best qualities in the students but also allow them to get to know their fellow Lasallians from other schools and cities. This togetherness reminds us that we all belong to a big, unique and inclusive Lasallian family.
