NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF CATHOLIC SCHOOLS VISITS LA SALLE BANKSTOWN

Posted by La Salle Catholic College, Bankstown on 10 April 2019

Mr Tony Farley, the New Executive Director of Sydney Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Sydney, paid a flying visit to La Salle Catholic College, Bankstown last week. Mr Farley only commenced his new role on March 11th and it was very pleasing to see him on the ground in Bankstown so early on. Mr Farley spoke briefly to staff and toured our facilities, commenting positively on how well kept they were.

  • He spoke about being committed to working closely with school staff and leaders to find new and more sustainable ways to support excellence in teaching and learning.
  • He acknowledges that Sydney Catholic Schools is a high performing system that relies on the goodwill and professionalism of thousands of staff working across Sydney.
  • He has previously stated that strengthening the links between our schools and parishes will also be a top priority and he is enthused about working with our priests, deacons, school staff, parents and students to make this happen.

We look forward to Mr Farley making a difference.
