Leaders within Lasallian schools and other workplaces are invited to attend a landmark course in early 2017 being offered through the Institute offices in Rome.
The Lasallian Leadership program from February-April 2017 is being coordinated through the Secretariat of Formation and is intended for De La Salle Brothers and Lasallian Partners.
It is targeted at Lasallians who are presently in a leadership role or will soon be in such a role in their communities and/or ministries.
It is aimed at equipping Lasallians with the skills they need to be effective leaders, based around the most appropriate personal style for them, that is consistent with the Lasallian charism.
The course covers areas of direct relevance to Lasallians in our District, including the experiences of leadership in multicultural, multi-religious and secularised societies.
While the program is delivered across three two week modules, participants are free to complete the program at their own pace and are not expected to complete all three modules immediately.
The first module examines types and styles of leadership before focusing more on the specific features of Lasallian leadership in the second and third modules.
You can find more information on the program here.
If you are interested in participating in the program, please contact the Executive Director of the Lasallian Mission Council, Mr Merv McCormack.
