Opening Mass James Sheahan High School Orange

Posted on 19 February 2018

On Friday February 9, a wonderful Opening School Mass was celebrated By Parish Priest Fr Greg in the impressive College Hall, attended by a  large number of students, staff and parents.

Brothers Paul Rogers and Colin Griffin were privileged to attend a joyful liturgy of welcome for the 200 Year 7 students, with top class singing by the whole assembly and music appreciated by all. After the Homily, badges were presented to the various College leaders.

The Brothers then presented four sessions on the Lasallian Heritage to Year 11 and 12 students, while Catherine McAuley representatives spoke about the Mercy heritage.

Overall, the Brothers felt it was a great working environment and were humbled to be so warmly welcomed by staff, students and their families.
