The International Day of Peace ("Peace Day") is observed around the world each year on 21 September, although for the Pakistan Sector a full month is dedicated to this celebration.

From the 21st September to the 21st October, various activities were held across the Sector. This year, the main event was the inauguration ceremony held on the 21st of September. Br. Shahzad Gill, Sector Coordinator / Principal La Salle Secondary High School Multan, along with the administrative team from La Salle Secondary High School Multan raised flags, releasing doves and banners in the air as a symbol of peace.

Established in 1981, Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all difference and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace.

At the end of the ceremony, Ms Anum Khan thanked Brother Shahzad, Rehman, Robin and all those who helped in making the ceremony a success.
