PARC Novitiate Newsletter Final Issue 1819

As we have reached the completion of our journey in the womb of the Institute, we would like to first thank you, our dear readers, for journeying with us through-out the year. You have been a witness of how the year has been, and seen how each event and activity have unfolded in our lives towards becoming a better disciples of Jesus Christ, through the footsteps of our Founder.

This issue highlights our experiences in the remaining months of the Novitiate, from May to July. We shed a spotlight on the community's celebration of the 121st Philippine Independ-ence from the Spanish colonization. We also shared our end-ing sessions for our in-house classes on Catechism and Social Teachings with Br. Mawel Pajarillo FSC; our Lasallian studies on Women Lasallians by Ms. Vangie de Peralta, a lay partner from De La Salle Santiago Zobel, Bridging Culture and Faith by Br. Richie Yap FSC, Lasallian Saints and Martyrs with our sub-director, Br. Joseph Hung FSC, and discussions on MEL 52 and 53 with our director, Br. Rey Mejias FSC. We also wrapped up our classes on Perspective on Religious Life, Vocational Growth and Development, and World Religions with our For-mation staff, and the Novices.

One of the highlights of this issue is the reflection and stories of the Pre-Postulants on their general experience of their Eng-lish program, and how things have been after staying in the Philippines for four months. Another highlight is our excerpts on our Novitiate Synthesis. Br. Carlo shares his Novitiate ex-perience as "Climbing Towards the Summit", and Br. Miggy, brings us to the lens of "A Son's Realization."  Likewise, Br. Simon shares his "Novitiate Experience", and Br. Zafar, describes his "Womb Experience Journey."

Featured in this issue are: the launching of our batch project and yearbook, an interview with our featured novice, our featured novitiate staff, and our movie reflections.

As we set our sails beyond the cloistered life of the Novitiate, let us pray for one another, and ask God's grace and guidance as we continue to grow and deepen our love for this vocation.
