Despite, level 4 COVID restrictions, Damien Locke, class of 1994, at O'Connor, received the sacraments of Holy Orders and was ordained a priest in the Catholic Church. The ordination was not open to the public due to the restrictions but was be able to be viewed online. The last time we had anything like a pandemic was 30 years ago with the AIDS/HIV crisis. At that time I was at the heart of the outbreak working in San Francisco General Hospital. It was a searing experience watching young men die of this awful disease.
