Prayer for a Lasallian Community

Lord, we pray that you bring forth your community,

Out of brokenness and indifference, bring forth love and caring;

Out of self-centeredness and isolation, bring forth friendship and compassion;

Out of misunderstanding and mistrust, bring forth unity and togetherness;

For the included and the excluded,

the remembered and the forgotten,

the loved and the despised,

May we build together your living community,

Bound together by love and joy to the world and to you.
