St Michael's Adelaide introduces Uber Library

St Michael's College Adelaide Resource Centre has been transformed into an Uber Library delivering textbooks and resources to the homes of students who were unable to pick them up from the School. Previously, students have collected textbooks in person from their teachers; however, due to COVID-19 this is no longer possible. One hundred and twenty resource packs have been organised for delivery to areas such as Largs Bay, Prospect, Woodville and Seacombe Gardens.

Principal John Foley reminds us that "St Michael's College is committed to ensuring the best possible educational experiences. De La Salle said that young people need good teachers like visible angels and this has never been more true at St Michael's. St Michael's understand how important it is that young people feel connected, valued and cared for in these unusual times. It is essential that they are enabled and confident to flourish regardless of what is happening around them. The College is well prepared and resourced for the possibilities of offsite and online learning "
