Sudden Surge in new enrolments with the arrival of the De La Salle Brothers in Gujranwala, Pakistan

The new Academic year started at St Joseph's English High School, Gujranwala, on 7th March 2019. By then, the news of the Brothers taking over the administration of the School had spread throughout the city. The presence of the Brothers in the school had a powerful impact on the people of Gujranwala, within a month of taking over, the Brothers were able to improve facilities and implement structural changes to the school administration.  There have been 120 new students enrolled since the Brothers taking over in March to the end of April 2019.

The visit of Brother John Pill and Mr Michael Justin, Teacher, De La Salle College Revesby, was of great benefit to the staff and the students. They conducted an induction program for the staff on Leadership and Life Skills Techniques to the students.  We are grateful to both of them for their valuable contribution and their generosity.

Special thanks to Br David Hawke, Br Shahzad Gill and Br John Cantwell for organising the induction programs and to Mr Timothy Logue, Principal, De La Salle College Revesby, for organising Mr Michael Justin to visit the School.
