It is with great sadness that former Star of the Sea Principal, Sr Patricia Carroll pbvm died late Saturday (10 February) afternoon, after a short illness.
Patricia Carroll pbvm was born in Mudgegonga in 1927. The eldest of five children, she worked on the family farm during the war years before entering the Presentation order in 1946. Her long association with Star of the Sea began in 1949 when she came to Star and taught in outlying schools.

It is with sadness that we report Fr Adrian Meaney msc passed away last Wednesday night in hospital after a short illness. He was still active in his ministry and works for the Mission Office as recently as last Saturday.
