On the feast of 'All Souls Day' nine students and one academic staff of Sacred Heart Teachers College had a short reflection ending with a Eucharistic celebration as a ritual for full membership into the PNG Lasallian Family. The Reflection was facilitated by Fr John Tawan MSC, around the Theme ' A Teacher a Missionary to give Hope'.
The Day was a concluding session of a ten Lasallian Induction sessions given to all the year three students. It invites those that were influenced by the session topics to join the Lasallian Family in PNG and Internationally. From these sessions topics like; the 'Life story of Saint John Baptist De La Salle, the 12 virtues of a good teacher, the five guiding principles, Lasallian Family in PNG, The writings of SJBDLS' and others.Fr John Tawan MSC gave his reflection on: "Descend Our Lives to be your disciples and missionaries for 'One Heart, One Commitment, One Life to Live"
Father John concludes his reflection with the following words: "There is a shortest and difficult journey in our life; a journey from the Heart to the Brain and from the Soul to the Mind There are many forms of prayer. Building our relationship with God we need to pray. Here is how we can using the acronym ACTS.

The students were given certificates by Grace Wrakia to recognise the occasion and Brother Thomas gave words of encouragement as these young people been their vocation as a young primary teacher in PNG.
