At the start of May, the Lasallian Formation team conducted a formation session to 31 members of the St Michael's College Adelaide staff at the Grange Life Saving Club. As requested from the school principal the formation days are put together to provide insight to the new staff of the school with values and the story of St John Baptist De La Salle. As well as an initiative to familiarise themselves with the school, the formation days are an 'orientation day' for the staff to be better equipped when it comes to enhancing the Lasallian values within the school. The third day out of the series of three sessions with the staff members that occurred earlier in March took place in the first week of May in Adelaide. The response from the participants was overwhelmingly positive. Presenters, Amanda Proulx and Br John Cantwell, enhanced the values of formation and having a "critical mass" of people on staff who have an appreciation for Lasallian stories and values. All staff welcomed the opportunity to engage with one another in the relaxed atmosphere.
Some responses to the two days were, "I liked the opportunity to get to know someone that I usually wouldn't". "The Presenters were very passionate and knowledgeable and were inclusive of everyone during discussion and feedback". "I felt comfortable to share right form the beginning, the information was accessible, relevant and interesting. I felt challenged in a good way."
