Silent Reflective Reading (Mother Teresa)
We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. See how nature, the trees, the flow-ers, the grass, grow in perfect silence-see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence
Silence gives us a new outlook on everything. We need silence to be able to touch souls. The essential thing is not what we say, but what God says to us and through us. Jesus is always waiting for us in silence.
Reading (Charles Morgan)
"There is no surprise more magical than the surprise of being loved; it is God's finger on a person's shoulder. In then silence you discover that you are loved, that you are lovable. It is the discovery that everyone must make in their lives if they are going to become fully themselves, fully human."
