"Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations."
Today, the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society. At La Salle High School Campus II, we try our best to provide an atmosphere for our students' development, where children are encouraged to develop their potential in the pursuit of excellence. This can only be possible in a holistic, student-centred environment. The talents, skills, and abilities of each student need to be identified, nurtured and encouraged so that he / she is able to reach greater heights. Students need to be provided with a platform to think, express, and show their skills, with the teacher being a facilitator.
La Salle High School continues to strive to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values combining with academic and co-curricular activities in the children. Children need a supportive environment at home and at school. They need to set goals within their reach until they gain confidence and determination. The event of a science exhibition which occurred for the very first time in our school is one example of this achievement.
While academic excellence is our primary priority, the school is also devoted to preparing the students for life, prepare them to face the challenges of tomorrow, and encourage them to be socially relevant. We continuously make an effort to always live up to this ideology and inculcate this into everything we do, with the aim that we will be able to ensure that the children grow to their full potential.
The parents are the most strengthening power in moulding the futures of their children. Their consistent support empowers us to do more and more. I pay my gratitude to them for their faith in us.
I am confident enough that Lasallians will make themselves stronger day by day, adding a new leaf to the magnificence of the school.
The installation of a clean drinking water Plant is a significant development and God's most precious blessing for our school. A sincere thanks to Br Denis Loft, Director of Donor Projects, for organising the twining funds for the installation of a clean drinking water plant for the school community. My heartfelt thanks to Mr Michael Egan, Principal, as well as the staff and students at La Salle Catholic College Bankstown, for their very kind donation. Their generosity will make an immediate difference in the lives of our students and staff.
