Lasallian Studies Course

This course will be facilitated by Br John Cantwell fsc, the Director of Formation at Lasallian Mission Services.

This course aims to develop and strengthen understanding of Lasallian identity and what it means to be part of the Lasallian mission today.

The course focuses on three areas:

1. The life of St John Baptist de la Salle and the historical and ecclesial context of his time.

2. The educational vision and philosophy of St John Baptist de la Salle and Lasallian education today.

3. St John Baptist de la Salle's spiritual vision and Lasallian spirituality today.

The course will have accreditation in accordance with Policy 1.6 from the Catholic Education Commission of Victoria.

It is completed over three by three hour seminars, alongside some reading and reflection work between seminars.

The first session will take place on Wednesday 10 August from 2-5pm, followed by subsequent sessions on 5 October and 16 November.

Participants will also be requested to read the text "The Work is Yours" by Luke Salm prior to commencing the course.

The Cost is $50.00 per person.
