In Term One, the Young Lasallians Team have had quite a busy start to the year completing 14 school retreats and two Young Lasallians and Young Adults evenings in Australia, not to mention the numerous retreats and Formation work that has occurred in Papua New Guinea (PNG).

The Young Lasallian team from Lasallian Mission Services, delivered yet another successful Confirmation Retreat program at Our Lady of Fatima Primary School in Caringbah, for an enthusiastic group of Year 6 students.

Community is like a large mosaic. Each little piece seems so insignificant. One piece is bright red, another cold blue or dull green, another warm purple, another sharp yellow, another shining gold. Some look precious, others ordinary. Some look valuable, others worthless. Some look gaudy, others delicate. Last week saw the gathering of 15 passionate, dedicated young volunteers, who have willingly put their hands up, to donate the next year of their lives to 'Share The Mission' throughout the Lasallian Family.
Coming from a variety of places across Australasia, including some returning volunteers, these young women and men came as strangers and left as friends to their STM locations after our five day Orientation Program at The Centre in Randwick, NSW.
