One of the joys of working at LMS, is the opportunity to read College Newsletters from around the District. The variety of colour and content is as diverse as the District itself, and the thoughtful contributions of many principals would be heartening to school communities. The Catholic Alliance for People Seeking Asylum (CAPSA) has organised a 2018 National Week of Prayer and Action. The week will run from the 20th 31st August, which are the weeks either side of the 104th World Day of Migrant and Refugees. On Tuesday, 14 August, the hopes and concerns of young Catholics were given a voice at an Australian Catholic Youth Council workshop in Sydney yesterday. On Friday, 10 August, Br David Hawke and the General Council granted Letters of Affiliation to Peter Cartwright, Director of Finance for the Trustees of the De La Salle Brothers from the Provincial Office, Bankstown. Peter has a long history with the Brothers having worked with the Trustees for 14 years.
