Francis Douglas Memorial College

Based in New Plymouth, New Zealand, the Francis Douglas Memorial College was founded in 1959 it is a state integrated Catholic school for young men through year 7 to 12. This school is a truly Lasallian catholic school for the 790 fortunate boys, 120 of whom board in La Salle House, to be educated in the religious virtues of Faith, Service and Community before taking their places in society.

The motto of the school is Touching Heart, Teaching Minds, Transforming Lives. The all-boys’ catholic school follows the tradition of the De La Salle Brothers, with core values of respect, inclusiveness, quality education and concern for the poor and social justice. Every young man that goes to the catholic school finishes their education with the highest quality of religious learning and respect for those around them, no matter who they are.  The teachers are all highly qualified with experience in various catholic schools in Auckland, Wellington and the surrounding New Zealand area.

John Paul College, Rotorua

John Paul College was founded to serve the Catholic families of Rotorua in the North Island of New Zealand.  The college is a top performing state-integrated Catholic school and the largest co-educational Catholic School in New Zealand.  It promotes excellence in the schools academic, sporting and cultural spheres and has comprehensive systems of pastoral care and support to ensure that each individual student can flourish to his or her fullest potential.

Named after Pope John Paul II, John Paul College, is a co-educational secondary catholic college with the motto of “Through Faith and Love”. The catholic school provides immense opportunities for its students with amazing resources, such as service trips to Cambodia and life-long growth through Catholic Education.  It was opened in 1987 and combined two existing catholic schools, Edmund Rice College (for boys) and MacKillop College (for girls).
